The oil leeching (or sweating) does not affect candle burning, and once the candle is being burned, the excess oil will blend back into the wax. 

 

The oil leeching can happen due to a few factors.

1. When candles undergo a drastic change in temperature, the density of wax and oil will change at a high rate. This can cause the wax to physically “squeeze” the oil out of itself.

2. We used a high fragrance load at 10%. This can enhance the scent of the candles yet candles with high fragrance load tend to leech more oil.

 

The best way to solve this is to wipe the oil off and use it normally, and allow oil to blend back into the wax. But if desired, we can definitely reduce the fragrance load or use a blended wax instead of 100% natural soy wax.
